About Care Net

Care Net, our affiliate, bases its ministry on James 1:27, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..."  This ministry was founded in 1975 by Dr. Harold Brown, along with the advice and encouragement of the Rev. Billy Graham and the late Dr. Francis Schaeffer.  Care Net is the largest international affiliation organization of crisis pregnancy centers, consisting of approximately 1,000 paid staff, 20,000 volunteers, and nearly 300,000 supporters of local centers.  Some 300,000 women come to these centers for help each year in addition to the approximately 200,000 teenagers reached annually with an abstinence message, through both peer counseling and public presentations.
